I use to love fire drills when I was in school
so, the other day before I headed for the beach, I headed over to the canadian embassy to find out what I had to do register to vote, because even though I am not going to be there for the first year of this government I still feel the need to vote. So, i took a taxi over, and there were times during this ride that i thought I was going to die, the taxi was go off the highway, going to hit another car.
But, i finally made it to the canadian embassy, I started to walk up to the building where they are located. I walk into the building and show id to the women and all of sudden an alram starts going off. That day was the day that the building decided to practice fire drill. So, i had to go out and wait for everything to be finished. Now, they were keeping track of everyone did, and I have to say that the canadian embassy didn't do their best. The alram was pulled at 11:00am and the best time was 11:07( but that was the cafe on the main floor so they had unfair advantage) and the last time posted was 11:27, and the canadian embassy clocked in at 11:24.
Then I felt really safe when I was actually in the canadian embassy because their metal detecter kept on going off and the person just kept on waving them in.
