why is my mouth burning
as I type, my mouth is burning from the spicy tuna salad that I just had. there were whole chunks of chilies in it.
So, today I got up and walked over to Wat Pho, a Buddhist temple that has reclining Buddha in it. but, little did I know that it was the Kings birthday today, so all temples were closed down until 1pm. a tuk tuk driver offered to take me around to some of the other Buddha statues, which he did but then all of sudden we pulled into a shop which they tried to sell me a suit. as, I am sitting in the back of the tuk tuk, guys were bringing out fabrics, and showing me designs that they thought would look good on me. After saying "no, I don't need a suit right now" he drove me back to wat pho were I walked around and looked at reclining Buddha, as I was walking around the rest of the temple, I saw that there was a massage school. So, in I went, and first glance it seemed like I was walking into the sweat shops of a massage palor, because there was rows and rows of tables. which I was then introduced to masusit, which was a 60 year old women. but after half an hour, I felt great
so, i was going to up to chaig mai tomorrow, but I forgot to take my malaria pill today, so I am going up on tuesday.

Yo, you know the road that wraps around the temple at the end of KSR? If if you follow it to the first bend there's a good restaurant there that does catch of the day. I had awesome sea bass there for for I think 200 baht. It's got a terrasse on the front too so you can watch the people go by.
