Christmas eve
The other night I went to a shopping mall of bars, it was going to the oshawa center but instead of old navy and the bay, you had your choice of drinking establishment. It was the strangest experience that I have ever had. Every single bar was packed as well, there was already any room to move around. I had to hold my drink above my head, because the few times that I held it lower it was spilt.
then I came back to near my hotel, basically on my street there are hotels and restaurants. After 1am, bars and restaurants aren't allowed to sell booze, but most of the restaurants sell after hours. So, after being in the shopping malls of bars, I came back to near my hotel and hung out on the street until 5 in the morning sitting on mats and buying beer from a man behind a truck. The cops came by twice but basically everyone stands up and starts to walk away, people start picking up the mats. Then soon as the cops pass the mats get rolled out again and people start to sit down again.
I also stood by the main intersection with this guy that I have met, who has decided that he is going to start a tuk tuk business in Boston.
