The first thing you do in Sydney.

So, whats the first thing that you do while you are in Sydney. Yup, you guess it, go and see the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. I have to say that the Opera house is pretty tiny in real life.

the standard tourist photo.

This was taken once I saw that the Opera House was smaller then I thought.

Harbour Bridge. I was thinking about going and climbing this but I decided against it.

For the last week, I have been working at law firm, which was on the 44th floor. It had some amazing views. This is a view of the Sydney Tower, and you can see the harbour bridge but it looks pretty tiny.

RIP Steve Irwin and RIP My Ipod

well, yesterday was a sad day for me, because my ipod decided to stop working, I do not know what happened to it, but it decided to take a sick day. SO, I have lost all of my music but I got it working again, so I am now trying to rebuild my music collection, which sucks but whatever, its back working .

RIP IPOD
But even worst news is the fact that Steve Irwin died today. I would like you all to bow your head for a moment of silence for both Steve and my ipod

RIP Steve Irwin

The other canadian

Meet Jeffery, he is from Saskatoon, Sas. Jeff is a typical canadian, he says eh after every sentence, and my favourite thing is that he says Caffeeee instead of coffee. he used to come to the dinner table every day and ask "how is your day.

On my last day Jeff and I found some hockey sticks and we decided to play some road hockey. I found out that I am really out of shape.

Here is Jeff and I doing the NHL face off, you must remember that from when you were kids

The best story from the mountain is when day jeff and I were talking about how we missed Maple Syrup, so we came up with a plan. We told the chefs that in Canada, the first thursday in August, is Pancake thursday and you have to eat pancakes for breakfast , lunch and dinner. We used an entirly bottle of maple syrup, I had a major maple syrup coma, it was a lot of fun. Here is a pic of the two chefs who made us the pancakes.

So remember the first thursday in August is Pancake Thursday, which is a Canadian National Holiday

MT Buffalo

The first day I was on the mountain, my friend and I went for a walk. The chalet is basically on the side of a mountain. This is the view from the lookout points at the chalet.

By the way, I didn't take this photo, Dieter took it. This is where I worked, but this is what the lodge basically looked like when we first got there.

One of the big walks at the lodge is walking to the top of the horn. I really wanted to do this walk. One of the things that we were planning was to do a snow shoe walk to the top of the horn durning one of the full moons, but as you will see we never got that much snow.

The boys making snow

This is most of the people that I worked with, there are some people missing because they left, but basically it snowed one day and they decided to take a photo.

This is what the place looks like with snow

And this is what it looked like when I decided to leave. As you can see the snow is melting away.

On the mountain, there were several animals. There were wombats, lye birds (they are basically a small peacock) mountain parots and my personal favourite crows. Here is a picture to prove to people that the crows were the size of cats.
