Fraser Island

Fraser Island, its the place where you can load up SUV full of booze, food, and people and drive on the beach. But, if you thinking that you are going for a quite relaxing camping trip. this isn't the place to go. Also if you run out of booze you can just buy more at one of four bottle shops on the island.

This is the group that I want with, it was a bunch of brits and irish and then me. But, it was great group


We were suppose to check the equipment before we left, which we did but we didn't notice that one of the poles were broken. But, we were usually drunk so we didn't really notice that the tent was broken

the first meal that we had was steaks so, the boys decided that they were going to cook


By the end of the trip, sand was everywhere, anytime that you were eating you get bits of sand in your mouth, it was disgusting.


The first night, we met these austraian guys who were on a fishing trip. As we were eating they came over and asked us if we had seen Fraser Island Bronco, we all said that we hadn't. I went over to see what they were talking about, and all it was a little stool.

We went to this place called Lake Mackenzie and it this crystal blue lake. it was great, we spent a couple of hours just swimming and drinking some beers. A week before they say they spotted crocodiles at the lake. it turned out to be a fake




On our last day we decided that we were going to go to this another lake, which was a mistake. Australians don't have a sense of distance what so ever. When we started this walk, it said "1 km," but every time a sign came up it said 1km. About 30 mins of the walk was like this, you were just walking in sand and it was windy day. it was horrible


We went to start our car on the last day, and our battery wouldn't start, so we had to flag someone down on the beach and get them to give us a boast

So, the hotel that I worked at in australia has burnt down today. The forest fires got to it and burned it down to the ground. The bunks bed that I used to hate putting sheets on, the public washrooms that always smelled like ass are now just piles of ash. Its pretty weird, but here are some photos

Goodbye Australia

well, all my trip is coming to an end. I am flying out of sydney today back to where I started Bangkok, I will be there for 4 days. and then back home

I have had a great time in oz, it was very sad today living the hostel and saying goodbye to people that I have known for months now.

but I am glad to have a little break from the backpacker life but I will stop off in the shwa for a couple of months, and then I think I will be off for again.

The first thing you do in Sydney.

So, whats the first thing that you do while you are in Sydney. Yup, you guess it, go and see the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. I have to say that the Opera house is pretty tiny in real life.

Harbour Bridge. I was thinking about going and climbing this but I decided against it.


For the last week, I have been working at law firm, which was on the 44th floor. It had some amazing views. This is a view of the Sydney Tower, and you can see the harbour bridge but it looks pretty tiny.
